Devices are anything that are made for a certain purpose, like a toaster to toast your bread. Similarly we have communication devices which are used to talk or speak with other people or things, such as phones and computers.

         One of the first communication devices were pigeons and messengers that sent information to other places when we still had kings and queens. Since then we have advanced the way we use communication. For example, the invention of the first telephone by Alexander Graham Bell, changed the way we think of communication in itself. Today we use phones that have been improved more and more since the first telephone, and even more new types of such devices have been invented.

          There  are many different ways we can use devices to communicate. We can use facetime to call anyone from anywhere on Earth, or use them to write text messages to other people. Another way we can use devices to communicate is by typing into a search engine like Google or Safari to get answers for our questions. The reason for this is because communication does not necessarily have to be from person to person, but with anything you are trying to talk to.​
